Two things I learned from my Free Enterprise teacher that do not pertain to free enterprise.

1) People with high IQs generally do not get along with people with average IQ scores.
2) People with high IQs generally do not get along with other people with high IQs.

I eat alone at lunch, by the way.*

*This is not meant as a boast. In order to be in the Gifted and Talented program, you have to have an IQ of 130 or higher. I'm in the G/T program, but I don't feel as if I make much of it. There is a stark difference between having a high IQ and being an actual intellectual.

In other news, Israeli researchers have invented a breath test for cancer. Still no cure for cancer though.

I feel like venting. I'll probably be isolated for the rest of high school, with the exception of one kid similar in thought process to me. I bet Karl Marx sat alone in Gymnasium too.

You'll probably find SOME friends. Or at least in my school all the different classes got to mingle between classes and during lunch. So you might make friends with some upper classmen.

Having upper classmen friends also makes it easier to avoid hazing as a freshman.

To be honest, I like sitting alone at lunch. It gives me time to read.

EDIT: Also, we're allowed to eat just about anywhere in the school. It's a very laid back campus.
