Why is the government better than the corporations?

Certain communists call corporations terrible, terrible things. I wonder why they prefer the government? If the corporations control the politicians by giving them money for campaigns in exchange for votes then who is worse, the one bribing or the one accepting the bribe?

What would be the difference between having the government finance everything or have the corporations finance everything.

Both politicians and CEOs are both profit driven which is apparently terrible. The CEOs want profit to get more money.

The politicians want money to get more power.

Nothing changes in criminalizing private business and making everything financed by the government.

In communism that is what you would do. You would criminalize private business.

The government allocates resources and creates jobs. They don't worry about profits so they don't leave the country in search for a poor country to exploit.

Politicians taking money from corporations is corruption. This comes from capitalism. If you make it illegal for politicians to be as corrupt as they are, you would eliminate the problem.
Or you could have a direct democracy where the citizens vote on the problems.

Not corporations, but they seemed to be able to do it pretty easy in Soviet Russia. Well, during the 1920s when it was still communist. It's actually pretty easy to run using the internet though.

If the government had more power, I doubt they'd have any reason to build hundreds of sweatshops overseas. Also, by this day and age, the government and corporations are one entity, so this topic is totally irrelevant anyways.
